With 147mm of rear travel and 160mm at the front, the new bike IBIS Ripmo AF ALU 29 Kit SLX 2023 is the strongest enduro or the most aggressive street. The DW-Link is responsible for controlling the 147mm of rear travel. And of course, the system of bearings and bushings in the upper and lower links (IGUS bushings) has been chosen. If something works and it does it so well, there is no reason to change. The aluminum Ripmo AF IBIS brings the award-winning performance of the carbon Ripmo to a wider, louder audience. It's everything we love about the carbon ripmo, plus some tweaks.

Product Details

With a steep seat tube angle of 76 degrees and a generous but not stratospheric Reach, the IBIS Ripmo AF positions riders in the centre and upright on the bottom bracket. It's an efficient position that can travel long distances without placing too much weight on its launched 64.9-degree steering angle. A 44mm offset fork is safer on steep descents and stable at high speeds. Better uphill and better downhill.

Since 2005, we are partnering with suspension guru Dave Weagle, developing the dw-link suspension system. It provides an unparalleled combination of efficiency in climbs and performance in descents, which has been repeatedly tested at the highest levels of competition.
AIR AND SPRING COMPATIBLE
The Ripmo AF is compatible with air and spring dampers due to a more progressive suspension ratio. It allows the linearity of the spring to thrive and we set the air springs with tunes that provide pop without feeling too hard. On the road, it gives the suspension a sense of flexibility throughout the ride, which improves traction no matter how deep you dig.
2.6" TIRE CLEARANCE
IBIS pioneered the wide-wheel revolution, which inspired the new generation of wider 2.4"?—?2.6" tires. When combined, this combo can be executed at ultra-low pressures, resulting in great cornering traction without sacrificing straight-line speed.
CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
Small, Medium or Large sizes only describe the size for better understanding, but our ultra-low standovers give you the ability to choose the size of the frame based on the Reach and your preferences.
LONG TELESCOPIC SEATPOST
What's better than a telescopic seatpost? A longer one. Our frames are designed to fit the longest possible telescopic seatposts. Cyclists over 173 cm can easily use a 185 mm telescopic seatpost, while people between 152 cm and 172 cm can use a seatpost of 125 mm or more, depending on the length of the crotch.
DETACHABLE ISCG05 BRACKET
Our optional ISCG 05 bracket is there if you want, removable if you don't want it.
