The La Ripley 4S Carbon is our agile, movable, playful, fast, lightweight and versatile 29" trail bike. Its combination of modern geometry, a rigid and lightweight carbon chassis and 120mm of ultra-efficient dw-link travel makes it just as fun to improvise single tracks as it is to have an epic road day. With its perfectly balanced modern geometry, the Ripley 4S is ready for any adventure. Its long top tube, a launched steering angle and short rear end will give you the confidence to try new trails, while the steep angle of the seat tube and the 44mm offset fork facilitate maneuvering on technical climbs and smooth singletrack. The Ripley V4S comes with the new UDH gearbox for maximum future compatibility and happens to have a 55mm chain line. The wider chain line allows for stiffer chainstays. Since 2005, we have partnered with suspension guru Dave Weagle perfecting the dw-link suspension system, which provides an unparalleled combination of pedaling efficiency on climbs and spectacular downhill performance, which has been repeatedly demonstrated at the highest levels of competition. The ultra-low standover and large free space for long telescopic seatposts give you the ability to tailor the sizing according to the Reach. All our bikes are built with the highest quality materials and optimized to provide the best strength, weight, rigidity and riding performance. The Ripley weighs 2.2 kilos without shock absorber. Internal cable routing used to be a hassle, but our internal tubes make guidance easy, just swipe the sleeve and it will come out the other end, hassle-free. The thick rubber bottom tube protector deflects stones, while our sheath protector features thick raised sections to help dampen chain noise. And our simple yet elegant link protectors stop mud and rocks thrown by the tire.
