YETI SB165 GRAVITY-PROVEN RESISTANCE The SB165 is characterized by its solid construction. Its frame exceeds Yeti DH endurance testing standards, and goes far beyond what is expected on a trail bike with 165mm of travel. This frame is designed to last a lifetime, although we provide an equivalent warranty as a precaution.
ANTI-SQUAT SUSPENSION: Throughout our range of bikes, we have implemented an anti-squat suspension curve that is relatively flat and high at the start and in the middle of the travel, in the pedaling area. This creates an efficient pedaling platform throughout the pedaling area, rather than focusing on a single point. After the pedaling zone, a turning point occurs where the Switch Infinity system shifts downwards, drastically reducing the anti-squat effect. Normally, riders don't pedal in this part, so chain forces have less of an impact on suspension performance. This decoupling of chain forces allows the suspension to work more effectively to absorb shocks, providing a distinctive experience when riding a Yeti bike.
