The Monarch PEATYS Grips are the product of decades of life-clinging experience and an 18-month design development process. During those 18 months, we surveyed over 1000 people about their grip preferences, tested countless grips, and even set up our own in-house 3D printing and casting shop to quickly test and refine the finest details through hundreds of hours of testing. Down to the last 0.25mm, seriously! The result is a grip design with an offset and tapered angle, tapered grip profile, 20A soft compound, thin 8mm clamp (for maximum grip area), exclusive thumb pad with zigzag pressure relief, high-grip finger bars (cut inwards, not outwards; this is important!), two texture options and two thickness options.

Two thickness options: thin or thin (30-32 mm) and thick or thick (32-34 mm)
- Soft 20A compound for the best balance between grip and durability.
The tapered grip body and offset core increase impact cushioning in the upper while improving pop and feel.
The zigzag thumb pad provides maximum pressure relief for the thumb.
High-grip toe bars are cut inwards for maximum grip and bar feel
Tapered core, made from 80% recycled ocean plastic, that adapts to the handlebars to prevent the grip from slipping
The mid-flange and pinky ramp provide a reassuring reminder of where the edges of the bars are.
130mm gripping area with a thin 8mm locking clamp and a 3mm Allen screw.
Cuffs available in Black, Red, Mango, Turquoise and Slate.
Interchangeable anodized aluminum locking rings available in 12 different colors (sold separately).
Remove the old grips and clean/degrease the bars thoroughly.
Slide the grips over the bar, making sure they are placed on the correct side. The L and R markings on the locking rings indicate left and right facing grips and should be installed on the left and right as seen by the rider.
Orient correctly so that the crown logo on the end is facing up. This will set a good default position for the finger bars and thumb panel. Swivel slightly forward or backward to suit your riding position or preference.
Fully tap the grip against the bar to ensure that the bar fully enters the core tapeRED. A firm palm stroke should be fine, no hammer needed!
Tighten the 3 mm Allen key on the locking ring at 3 Nm. And to ride!!!
