INSPIRATION
The Smuggler project was done with the intention of creating a bike that had the fast, high-energy feel of the Spur, but with a bit more travel front and rear. what we ended up with was a perfect combination of the Spur and the Sentinel in geometry, travel, capacity and weight. It's not all downhill, there are plenty of easy paths, technical trails, and winding trails. The Smuggler is perfect for a day when your path crosses with all of the above.

PROGRESS IN THE RIGHT PLACE
the kinematics are similar to the Spur with a progressivity of just over 27%. This provides a bottomless feel on medium suspension travel. Together with the Fox Float X shock, the Smuggler can be configured to suit any rider's preferences. Looking to increase rear travel? Simply remove the travel reducer on the shock to increase the travel up to 140 mm. Looking for a little more progressiveness? Simply add a larger volume spacer. All this equates to a super lively, active and forgiving rear suspension feel on any terrain.

EVOLUTION OF THE DESIGN OF THE FRAME
The Smuggler exhibits some frame design features that further our commitment to clean aesthetics while also being easy to maintain. The most notable is the head tube area that provides better functionality and serviceability. This allows the frame to have super clean cable ports on the front of the head tube with fully routed internal cable routing from the head tube to the port above the bottom bracket. From there, the wires enter cleanly into the rear triangle hidden from view.
