HOW TO USE PEATY'S FOAMING DRIVETRAIN DEGREASER

  1. Spray the cassette generously while moving the pedals back, creating a thick layer of foam over the chain.
  2. Apply directly on other areas that have not been covered such as the arms of the Crankset or the shift rollers.
  3. If you have a stand for your bike, move the pedals as you go through all the gears several times to stir up the grime.
  4. Shake the areas with embedded dirt when necessary and let them soak for about two minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Dry the chain with a dry cloth.
  7. Apply chain lubricant.

HOW TO USE PEATY'S LINKLUBE

When it is first used in a used chain, even if it looks clean, it will turn black pretty quickly. Don't panic! It is the lubricant cleaning any dirt that can be found in each of the links of your chain.
Just continue to degrease and reapply and, after a few turns to the pedals, your chain will be truly free of any grime.

  1. Degrease completely before applying a new layer of lubricant. For a better result, use chain-specific degreasers.
  2. Be sure to rinse the chain thoroughly after applying any degreasing products.
  3. Wait for the chain to dry completely.
  4. Apply to the chain as it rotates backwards, making sure all links are covered.
  5. Keep the chain moving for ten seconds to help the lubricant spread.
  6. Clean any excess lubricant on your chain with a dry cloth.

CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY TO BRAKES OR BRAKE SHOES.
