The Crossmax XL WTS combines performance and reliability for adventurous mountain bikers who go out to explore the mountains. Lightweight tire for technical trails provides comfort and support when the terrain becomes technical. The rim has been lightened, leaving the necessary material in the areas that work the most and machining (ISM: Inter Spoke Milling) the parts between radio anchors. This lightness in the rim helps when climbing, accelerating and guiding the bike. Flanks more resistant to impacts on the tire, providing greater resistance, not always avoidable when cycling technical sections with speed. Both wheels are mounted with 24 spokes profiled Mavic of Zicral, which gives them rigidity and resistance. The front wheel has the spokes crossed to achieve unbeatable comfort and vertical absorption (shocks), while the rear wheel uses Isopulse radiate to transmit energy to the ground. Radial radiating on the pinion side provides reactivity and allows us to increase the flanks to increase lateral stiffness. The ITS 4 freewheel core system, with only 7.5° to engage, ensures that energy is quickly transmitted to the ground when exiting corners. The rim is completely watertight and ready to be used as a tubeless wheel (UST) without having to mount rim bottom. It also combines perfectly with the Crossmax Quest UST Tubeless Ready covers with which it comes mounted (in widths 2.4" or 2.25" to adapt to the terrain you have in your area). This wheel offers a great combination of rolling efficiency, traction and cornering grip. The new double compound X-mix (hardness 55/50A) provides high rolling speed and durability in the center band, and confidence when lying down in curves thanks to the softer lateral taqueado. With an additional layer of protection, the single sheet housing retains lightness while maintaining enough strength to attack the most aggressive terrain. The bushings are compatible with multiple shaft systems. The front comes for 15 mm, and as an option are those of 9 and 20 mm or Lefty Supermax 2.0. The rear is delivered with adapters for 9/12x135/142 and is available with HG10 or XD freewheel.
