TWO PARTS? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
If you notice, Peaty's All-Weather lubricant is divided with a clear top lube base and a mysterious secret solution that slowly falls to the bottom of the bottle. Fear not! It is an important feature that makes the product suitable for any weather.
The secret formula is a combination of oils and waxes that is only found individually in lubricants for dry environments or for wet environments. Thanks to the hard work in our laboratory we have managed to unite them in a super lubricant that provides a long protection against moisture while keeping the chain clean in dry or dusty conditions.
The clear lubricant on top is an oil that quickly penetrates anticorrosive and displaces moisture. And, when combined with the secret bottom solution shaking the canister, it makes its way clearing any nooks and crannies of your chain, ridding it of moisture, sand, and grime, and leaving a slight layer that reduces friction, vibration, and noise from the transmission zone.

HOW TO USE

When it is first used in a used chain, even if it looks clean, it will turn black quite quickly. Don't panic! It is the lubricant cleaning any dirt that can be found in each of the links of your chain.
Simply continue to degrease and reapply and, after a few turns of the pedals, your chain will be truly free of any grime.

  1. Degrease thoroughly before applying a new layer of lubricant. For a better result, use chain-specific degreasers.
  2. Be sure to rinse the chain thoroughly after applying any degreasing product.
  3. Wait for the chain to dry completely.
  4. Apply to the chain as it rotates backwards, making sure all links are covered.
  5. Keep the chain moving for ten seconds to help the lubricant spread.
  6. Clean any excess lubricant in your chain with a dry cloth.

CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY TO BRAKES OR BRAKE SHOES.
