The TRANSITION Relay can be used as an electric bike or as a non-motorized bike by simply removing the battery.
The drive unit has such minimal resistance that when you drive it off and without the battery, you'll quickly forget that it still has a motor in its frame. During the development process, we tested it without the battery and found very little difference, even with the extra weight of the motor remaining low and centered. This aspect of the Relay opens up avenues that many have not tackled before. It fulfills the desires of a rider looking for the e-bike experience, while also allowing riders to remove the battery to pedal with friends who don't use e-bikes, transportation, riding the Bike Park, or riding in areas not allowed for e-bikes. You can quickly open the battery door without tools, remove the battery from the frame and let your legs do the rest. We believe that many riders are currently faced with the decision of whether to buy either an e-bike or a non-motorized bike, not both, and the Relay will be their answer.

FAZUA RIDE60 MOTOR AND FAZUA RIDE 60 BATTERY

The super light 60 Nm Fazua Ride60 motor weighs 1.96 kg. The minimal ratio of drag and power to weight provides the magic when not riding with power. When you go over the speed limit, you don't get penalized if you continue pedaling like traditional e-bikes. The 430 Wh battery, 60 Nm torque, 250 Wh continuous power, 450 Wh maximum power and the overall weight of the bike work together in harmony. All of this amounts to an experience that exceeds what you would expect from their numbers. The 430 Wh battery weighs 2.2 kg. It is easily removable through the tool-free battery door under the down tube. The battery is charged outside the bike, which is an advantage for customers with difficult bike storage and charging situations.

FAZUA RING CONTROLLER The single-ring, ergon-omic controller adjusts modes with a gentle push up or down. Pushing it up increases the power level, pushing it down decreases the power level, pushing it inward will activate the walking mode. If you hold the controller up for 2 seconds from any assist mode, a boost mode will be activated, giving you maximum system power delivery for approximately ten seconds.

LED HUB The sleek display on the top tube consists of 5 LED lights to tell you the power mode and battery life. The Relay has three power modes designated by different LED colors. Breeze mode (green) is very functional in many situations, and TRANSITION adjusts it to suit you for use on a variety of terrains, not just going to the trailhead. The River mode is preset to match the amount of power you're delivering to the pedals. If you're pedaling smoothly, it offers a minimal amount of assistance. If you're hammering, it will give you all the available assistance it can, providing a very intuitive experience and range management. Rocket mode (pink) provides maximum power to tackle steeper climbs and challenging terrain, it will reduce your range but pack a punch.

FAZUA RIDE60 APPLICATION The Fazua Ride60 app pairs with the Relay via bluetooth technology. The Relay comes equipped with our well-thought-out profile, but you can fully customize its settings in all assistance modes. With Max Power and Support Relation, you can set the maximum mechanical power output and torque in each mode. Support Relation allows you to adjust how much assistance you receive in relation to how much force you apply to the pedals. Ramp Up allows you to adjust the responsiveness of the system to provide support in each mode. Whether you're an experienced rider looking for the most efficient and responsive setup, or someone who values more distance on your rides, the app offers a wide range of settings to fine-tune your ride to your liking.
