Boostinator kits allow you to mount NO boost wheels on frames and forks with Boost spacing.
While incremental, the benefits of the 15x110mm "Boost" front axle and 12x148mm rear axle standards are clear: better clearance for thicker tires and rims and reduced chainring for stiffer, stronger wheels. The big bummer? Getting the most out of it requires not only a new frame and fork, but also new wheels.
In response, we've developed the Boostinator. When paired with compatible 15x100mm or 12x142mm hubs, Boostinator kits allow existing wheels to be mounted on standard Boost frames and forks. The positions of the discs and transmission are maintained and, thanks to quick assembly, the spoke reinforcement angles are improved.
Boostinator kits consist of a specially designed shaft end cap and, in the case of rear kits, a precision-machined rotor spacer with a set of six heavy-duty bolts. According to Boost's specifications, the disc and cassette are offset outward, allowing the brakes and derailleurs to work as designed.
